Cartdock terms of use

Effective from: 2026-10-16

These terms are the agreement between you and the provider of Cartdock: the Android and iOS app for lists for any goal and for the receipts and spending that go with them, its service, and the website with the shared-list page. They explain what you get, what you pay for and how, what you may and may not do, and who is responsible for what. How we process your data is explained in the privacy policy.

1. Who provides Cartdock

Cartdock is provided by Siarhei Mishchanka, a natural person, Koposche aviatsonyaya 13, 247, Belarus, e-mail support@cartdock.app. In these terms, “we” and “us” refer to him.

Questions about the app and subscriptions, withdrawal and refund requests: support@cartdock.app. Requests about your data: privacy@cartdock.app.

2. What these terms cover

  • These terms apply when you use the app, the service or the website. By using them you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use Cartdock.
  • The app is intended for people aged 16 or older (privacy policy, section 10).
  • If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence agreement for apps also applies: the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the rules of our service and of subscriptions to it. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and the service.
  • Payments in Google Play and the App Store are also governed by the terms of that store.
  • Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live gives you.

3. Account

  • Lists, store mode and spending work without an account. You get an account when you sign in with Google or with an e-mail address and a password. An account is needed to share your own lists and to buy a subscription.
  • Use an e-mail address that you can access, and keep your sign-in details to yourself. An account is for one person.
  • If you think someone else uses your account, write to support@cartdock.app.
  • You can delete the account at any time, in the app or by e-mail (account deletion page).

4. Plans and limits

  • Cartdock has a Free plan, which costs nothing, and two paid plans, Lite and Plus. Lists, store mode and spending work on every plan. The plans differ in how many receipts you can scan and how many questions you can ask Rinka each month, and in how many of your lists you can share. Without an account, smaller limits apply.
  • The app shows the exact limits of every plan and how much of this month’s limits you have used.
  • Limits are counted per calendar month (UTC) and start again on the first day of each month. Unused scans and questions do not carry over to the next month.
  • We may raise limits at any time, and we may lower the limits of the Free plan. We do not lower the limits of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for: we tell you about a lower limit by e-mail at least 30 days in advance, and it applies from your next period, so you can cancel the subscription before then.

5. Subscriptions

  • Lite and Plus are monthly subscriptions. You buy them in the Android or iOS app, through Google Play or the App Store, after you sign in. The website sells nothing. There is no free trial.
  • The price is set in the store for your country and currency, and the app and the store show it before you buy. In Europe the price includes VAT; in the United States and Canada the store may add sales tax when you pay.
  • You pay the store, under its terms. The store charges you when you buy and then every month, on the renewal date it shows, until you cancel. We never receive your card or other payment details.
  • You can cancel the subscription in the store at any time: on Android in your subscriptions in Google Play; on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions (Apple’s instructions). After you cancel, your plan stays until the end of the period you have paid for, and the store does not charge you again. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date.
  • Deleting the app or the account does not cancel a subscription (account deletion page).
  • When a subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan. Your lists and receipts stay, and lists you already share stay shared; only the limits change.
  • A switch from Lite to Plus starts Plus at once, and the store counts the unused part of your Lite period towards the price. A switch from Plus to Lite takes effect from your next period.
  • If the price changes, the store tells you before the new price applies. The new price applies only from a following period; where the store’s rules or the law require your agreement, the subscription ends unless you agree.
  • A subscription belongs to the Cartdock account that bought it. On a new phone, sign in to the same account and restore your purchases in the app. While a subscription is active, another Cartdock account on the same phone cannot take it over.
  • If the store cannot take a renewal payment, your paid plan ends, unless the store gives you extra time to pay.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

If you live in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or the United Kingdom, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a subscription contract without giving any reason. We apply the same rule to buyers in every country where Cartdock is sold.

  • The 14 days run from the day you buy the subscription.
  • A subscription starts right after payment. When you tap “Buy”, you expressly request us to start it during the 14 days, and you acknowledge that if you withdraw, you pay for what you have used.
  • If you withdraw within 14 days, we refund the price minus the larger of two shares: the share of the days that have passed in the period, or the share of the plan’s monthly limit you have used — receipt scans or questions to Rinka, whichever share is larger. The refund is rounded down to a whole percent. Example: on day 5 of a 30-day period (17 % of the days) you have used 25 % of your scans, so we refund 75 % of the price.
  • If you did not make this request, or we did not inform you of your right of withdrawal, you get the full price back.
  • To withdraw, write to support@cartdock.app within 14 days of the purchase, from the address of your Cartdock account, and name the store and the order number or the date of purchase. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. Also cancel the subscription in the store so that it does not renew. After a withdrawal, the paid plan ends.
  • Google Play: we refund the money through Google Play to the payment method you used, within 14 days of receiving your request. Within the first 48 hours after a purchase you can also ask Google directly (Google Play Help).
  • App Store: only Apple refunds App Store purchases, under Apple’s rules; we cannot refund the money ourselves. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. When you ask Apple for a refund, our service tells Apple, through RevenueCat, whether the subscription was delivered; it sends nothing from your lists, receipts or questions. By buying a subscription in the App Store you agree to this. If you do not want it, write to privacy@cartdock.app before you ask Apple, and we will not send it.
  • After the 14 days we do not refund the current period, unless the law gives you a right to it, for example when a paid plan does not work as these terms describe (section 11). Cancelling stops the next charges.

Model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

To Siarhei Mishchanka, Koposche aviatsonyaya 13, 247, Belarus, support@cartdock.app: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service: a Cartdock subscription (Lite or Plus), bought on (date) in (Google Play or the App Store), order number (if known). Name and e-mail address of the Cartdock account. Date.

7. Rules of use

Cartdock is for personal use: for your own lists and receipts, and for your family, friends or team. Follow the four rules of the service in the privacy policy, section 12: use it through the app and the website, not with a program or script; do not get around the monthly limits; do not send links to lists in bulk or to people who have not agreed to receive them; do not keep illegal content in shared lists or show it through a link.

Also, do not:

  • use Cartdock for anything illegal, or to harass or deceive people;
  • put into lists, notes or questions personal data of other people that you have no right to share;
  • try to make Rinka write harmful, illegal or misleading content, or try to get around its rules;
  • attack or overload the service, test its security without our permission, or try to access other people’s data;
  • copy, sell or resell the app, the service or access to them, or decompile the app, except where the law allows it.

8. Rinka and receipt reading

  • Rinka is an AI, not a person. Its answers are written by a language model of OpenAI or Anthropic. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check an answer before you rely on it.
  • Rinka suggests what to buy, take or do for a goal. It does not give medical, diet, financial or legal advice, and it does not know prices or where something is cheaper. Do not use its answers for such decisions.
  • Rinka changes nothing by itself: the app shows what Rinka suggests, and you decide whether to accept it.
  • Receipts are also read by AI, and it can misread a shop, an amount or an item. Check a receipt before you save it. Spending in the app is a guide for your own planning, not an accounting or tax record.
  • Rinka and receipt reading work only with your consent to AI processing (privacy policy, section 7) and within the limits of your plan. They depend on AI providers and may sometimes be unavailable.
  • You may use Rinka’s answers as you like. If an answer is harmful or wrong, tap “Report” under it.

9. Your content and our rights

  • Your lists, receipts, notes and questions remain yours. You allow us to store, process and show them only as needed to run Cartdock for you: for example, to sync a shared list, to show it to its members and to people who open its link, and to send a receipt or a question to an AI provider.
  • When you share a list, its members see it, and anyone who has its link can view the list while the link is valid. You decide whom to share with, and you can revoke a link at any time.
  • Lists you have not shared are kept only on your phone. If you lose the phone or uninstall the app, they are lost unless a system backup restores them (privacy policy, section 3.8).
  • The app, the service, the website, the name Cartdock and their design belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app for the purposes of these terms.

10. Availability and changes to the service

  • We work to keep Cartdock available and correct, but the service can be interrupted by maintenance, failures or outages of our providers. Lists, store mode and spending work on your phone without a connection.
  • We develop Cartdock and may change, add or remove functions. We do not make a paid plan worse during a period you have already paid for. If a change makes a paid plan noticeably worse, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days in advance, and it applies from your next period, so you can cancel before then.
  • Keep the app updated. When the service changes, an old version of the app may stop working with it; updates are free.
  • If we stop Cartdock altogether, we tell you at least 60 days in advance and stop selling and renewing subscriptions at once, so that no paid period runs past the closing date. Until then you can download your data archive. Lists on your phone keep working without the service.

11. Liability

  • We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law does not allow a limit, including product liability law.
  • For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential for the contract — one that makes the use of Cartdock possible and that you can rely on — and only for the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract.
  • If a paid plan does not work as these terms describe, you have the rights that the law gives you: to have it put right, to a price reduction or to end the contract.
  • Nothing in this section limits the rights that the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live gives you. In the United States and Canada, this section applies only as far as the law of your state or province allows.

12. Ending use and account restrictions

  • You can stop using Cartdock at any time: cancel the subscription in the store and delete the account (account deletion page).
  • If you break the rules of section 7, we may restrict your account: slow down its requests for up to 24 hours, pause Rinka and receipt reading for up to 90 days, suspend the account for up to 180 days, or block sign-up with its e-mail address for up to 6 months. Except for slowing down, a person decides, states the reason and the end date, and tells you by e-mail; you can appeal within 6 months. The details are in the privacy policy, section 12.
  • We do not delete your account or your data as a penalty. While the account is restricted, you can still download your data and delete the account.
  • A restriction does not cancel a subscription in the store; cancel it there if you no longer want it. If we lift a restriction on appeal because it was wrong, we give you the restricted days of the paid plan back as extra days or, on Google Play, refund their share of the price if you prefer.

13. Changes to these terms

  • The current version is always published at this address; its effective date is shown at the top of the page.
  • We may change these terms for a valid reason: a change in the law or in the rules of the stores, a new or changed function, security, protection against abuse, or a change of a service provider.
  • If a change is to your disadvantage, we tell you by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel the subscription and delete the account before then. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

14. Law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the law of Belarus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
  • Write to us first at support@cartdock.app: we reply within 7 days and try to settle the matter with you.
  • You can bring a claim before the courts of the country where you live or of our country. We can bring a claim against you only before the courts of the country where you live.
  • We do not take part in proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body. For help, you can turn to the consumer protection authority of your country; in the European Union, the European Consumer Centres help with disputes across borders.
  • The European Union’s online dispute resolution platform was closed on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228), so these terms do not link to it.
  • If the language versions of these terms differ, the meaning that is more favourable to you applies.
